I read the previous reviews including some complaints, but this product sounded like what I needed, and indeed it performs satisfactorily for me. The complaint about the thumb button instead of a trigger concerned me but it turns out to be no problem for me (and am small and 70 years old). It does leave about a cup of liquid in the bottom, but I just pour it out and add it to the next batch when I am ready. I have had no problems with leaking. I do unscrew the wand between use. Worked great 3 times.
Fourth time I bumped the wand against a wall and it SNAPPED! Cheap metal. Broke at the base.

Great idea, good product, lots of room for improvment. I've been using this sprayer for two years, and the other reviews pretty well sum up the pro's and con's of Black & Deckers sprayer. On the plus side a battery powered sprayer that we don't have to continually pump is a great idea, and long overdue. It's shortcommings are a tank that is too small, and the pick up hose leaves approx. a pint of product in the tank every time. The wand does drip product, and a locking trigger switch would be a ... After using this sprayer for a month I have found that it does what I wanted, namely, it provides the spray power to penetrate into the interior of my more dense bushes. This is a big improvement over the pump sprayers that I have used. In general it is easy to use although the tilted fill opening is awkward with a funnel. I love this product our neighbor had one and after trying out his, I had to have it, and after some searching I found it on Amazon. It really helpsyou get to the root of the problem (hahaha).I love it and think anyone with a weed issues should see about purchasing one.
